Our business is supplying aircraft engine component maintenance to light gas
turbine engine operators.
To do this Masling Industries has been approved by the Civil Aviation Safety
Authority Australia (CASA) and the Department Of Civil Aviation Papua New Guinea
to engage in maintenance and distribution of aircraft components.
With a HISTORY in the commuter airline
business, Masling understand the crippling cost of down time and the advantage
of having fast turn arounds. We know that an aircraft is only profitable when
it’s in the air!
Today, Masling no longer fly for a living, but we still overhaul and repair
components as if we do. We concentrate on specialised component maintenance
using high standards of engineering, so the customer can benefit from the same
fast turn arounds that once kept our airline profitably off the ground.
Masling Industries is located on the Cootamundra airport, New South Wales with
modern facilities and experienced staff for efficient component overhauls and
repairs.
FUEL SYSTEM repair and overhaul
capabilities for a wide range of Allison 250, Honeywell (AlliedSignal) and Pratt
& Whitney PT6 A and T series engine fuel components are second to none.
Official recognition is held from Honeywell USA and Canada through our AWARS
(Authorised Warranty and Repair Station) status, an approval not easily gained.
This tells you something about our excellence in engineering expertise throughout
the world of aviation.
In the ELECTRICAL field our experience
with APC, Unison, Lear Siegler (Lucas/Goodrich) and General Electric starter
generators as well as Crane and Lear/Romec fuel boost pumps have provided a
dependable product over many years to a wide range of operators.
In-house, we have complete cleaning and rework facilities. Licensed personnel
using modern equipment carry out NON-DESTRUCTIVE TESTING
capabilities; magnetic particle inspection and dye penetrant process.
HYDRAULIC component capabilities
cover Stratopower hydraulic pumps and a wide range of Woodward Combined and
Overspeed propeller governors. Our knowledge and expertise in these components
is very well known throughout the industry and is backed by Woodward Governor
Company USA recognition.
SPARE PARTS - our stores system has a substantial holding of
spare parts on the shelf at all times and is directly linked to major distributors.
